Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef at Frankie’s Italian Chophouse, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse range of delicious desserts and pastries that complement our Italian-inspired menu. From classic tiramisu to innovative gelato creations, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skill while delivering consistently high-quality desserts to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute dessert menus in collaboration with the culinary team

Prepare a variety of desserts and pastries, including cakes, tarts, chocolates, and confections

Ensure that all desserts are prepared and presented according to established standards

Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, and order as needed

Train and mentor pastry kitchen staff to uphold quality and consistency

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the pastry kitchen

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role

Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients

Creativity and innovation in dessert creation

Strong attention to detail and presentation

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus
