Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Cook to join our team. As a Kitchen Cook, you will ensure that the taste, quality, and presentation of our food meet the highest standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
-Preparing appetizers such as edamame, gyoza, and spring rolls.
-Cooking entrees including Chicken tenders and Chicken Katsu.
-Making soups and salads, including miso soup, house salad with ginger dressing.
-Preparing ingredients by chopping vegetables, pre-portioning protein, specialty mixes according to our recipes and quality standards.
-Assisting in the preparing specialty dishes like bento boxes, and chef's special rolls.
-Crafting desserts such as tempura ice cream, tempura cheesecake and sushi donuts.
-Ensuring food is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.
-Responsible for setting up kitchen before and after service.
-Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, which may include occasional dishwashing.
-Assisting in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
-Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements:
-Previous kitchen experience required.
-Proficient knife skills, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and julienning.
-Ability to operate a deep fryer.
-Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
