Job DescriptionA client local to East Tampa has an exciting opportunity available for the right candidate. This is a role with high leadership visibility and can offer professional growth for the successful candidate. This is a role in which the selected candidate will have responsibility over the full-cycle accounting duties and will be heavily relied on by the Controller. Role & Responsibilities
- Perform month end close, journal entries with minimum supervision
- Report on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner
- Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close prep
- Prepare ad-hoc reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable
- Own the bank reconciliations process
- Process account reconciliations
- Prior experience in NetSuite is mandatory to be considered for this role
- 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant
- Accounting experience within a manufacturing company is highly desirable
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups, formulas)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
