Landscape Architect - Buildings + Places

AECOM has a position available in Tampa, FL for a Landscape Architect to join the team.  In this role, the selected candidate will be involved with project work that will include public/private projects with an emphasis on municipal, state, and federal projects involving transportation, streetscapes, waterfront development, parks, trails, and open space design, place-making, and planning.The Responsibilities for this role include but may not be limited to, the following:Preparing planning documents, conceptual and schematic designs, illustrations and graphics, construction details, construction documents, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates for a wide variety of public and private sector projects.Performing field reviews and analysis of project sites and study areas, and preparing written documentation of observations and conditions.Knowledge of construction materials and techniques, including detailingPlan and organize multiple projects and effectively work with other Landscape Architects, Designers, and TechniciansUnderstand quality control coordination and practice structure, and be able to comply with company standardsMaintain regular office hours and participate in company functions where appropriateWill work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.Domestic travel may be required.
