Description:Come join the winning team in Tampa! We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Services Shop Manager.We are a Full service Hydraulic and Mechanical Repair company. We specialize in Hydraulic repair and manufacturing. We service some of the largest Ships,Amusement Parks, Mining operations and manufacturing companies in the world. This individual must be capable and comfortable designing and manufacturingproducts that are up to the quality and standard that we are known for.The Hydraulic Services Shop Manager will be responsible for all aspects of managing the shop and the employees working in the shop. All day-to-day shop activities will be a part of this manager’s regular duties to include scheduling staff and working with customers. This manager will be responsible for working hand in hand with management and the outside sales representative to meet customer needs.Essential Functions:
Oversee shop operations to include scheduling, supervising, and coaching all shop staff.
Support and Work with Field Manager to ensure all jobs are delivered as promised.
Work with Field Manager to control workforce, hours, and budget
Review all shop job condition/evaluation reports
Develop daily work schedules for shop techs and shop job workflow.
Guide all shop employees to the highest efficiency and quality
Expertly guide and assist shop techs through decisions in repair methods.
Perform shop employee performance evaluations
Work with sales, service, field management and staff to meet customer needs, deadlines and requirements.
Maintain the safest workplace possible meeting all SOP’s and OSHA requirements.
Facilitate weekly staff meeting while including human resources and other management personnel when necessary
