All while understanding that together we are even better.Schedule: Full TimeShift : NightsThe community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Carrollwood·Family-like culture·Teamwork driven both inter Dept and multidisciplinary·Positive working climate to support a well-balanced work life balanceThe role you’ll contribute:Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs CT radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and initiative to perform CT procedures and appropriate protocols for diagnosis; to include Interventional Radiology procedures with CT guidance. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Technologist may still be required to assist in X-ray in addition to CT to meet department needs. Obtain ARRT(CT) credential within 12 months of starting this role and then transition to the appropriate CT Tech job description/role.The value you’ll bring to the team:· Performs other related duties as required and deemed necessary per Radiology Director/Manager to include Radiology Technologist duties to include general x-ray and surgical x-ray imaging as needed.· Follows "Standard of Behavior" guidelines per hospital policy.· Maintains ethical relationships and cooperates with all personnel in proper conduct of department· Incorporates patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action.· Transfers and positions patients. Lifting of patients is necessary at times.· Initiates and assists in Code Blue procedures if called.QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:· Associate’s degree or Graduate of a Technical School· American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT)· Basic Life Support - CPR CertThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
