Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a CLOUD Support Admin for a FULL TIME assignment with one of our premier Insurance/Investment clients in Tampa, FL HYBRID Onsite 3x a week Will consider a RELO NO Sponsorship An App Admin is part of an the Solution support team matrixed to Cloud Services and third party software as a service to perform a specialized function that focuses on the reliability, performance, maintainability and optimization of business applications hosted on a 3rd party vendor cloud platform. To be effective in the position, an App Admin must have strong experience supporting business critical SaaS applications hosted in the cloud.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Cloud Services and Application teams to deliver projects
- Provide developers build assistance for applications where needed
- Responsible for building the automation for any account customizations required by the application (ie: custom roles, policies, security groups, etc)
- Provide L2 Operational Support, including off-hours incident response (this will be the development teams first point of contact for production support.
- The App Admin will be responsible for escalating to Cloud Support should they determine the issue to be IaaS platform related)
- Automate manual processes
- Responsible for root cause write up.
- Analyze incoming incidents/alerts and presenting opportunities for appropriate/proper prioritization of incident/alerts
- Follow the enterprise change management process to deploy fully tested and documented solutions/applications to a production environment. Assist in runbook review
- Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to work across diverse technical and non-technical teams
- Strong cloud provider experience with SaaS implementations (AWS SysOps or DevOps certification a plus)
- Strong systems, network, and admin knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting application issues in an SaaS environment
- Working knowledge of DevOps and delivery tools (GitHub)
- Practical experience with modern scripting languages (Python, .Net, C#, Java)
