Established Engineering and Land Surveying consulting firm with offices in Venice and Englewood, Florida is looking for a well-qualified, licensed Civil/Land Development Engineer to assist with the preparation of studies, reports, designs and plans required for a wide range of projects within SW Florida. The job description and title will be appropriate for a Professional Consultant, Level 3 or 4 requiring graduation from an ABET accredited engineering school and at least 5 years of licensure as a professional engineer in states having reciprocity with Florida. Any applicant must be capable of attaining Florida licensure within 4 months of hire. This is a Professional Project Engineer position.
The successful applicant will report to work in Venice, FL 34292 and work at the direction of an assigned supervisor under the V.P. of Engineering. They will be working with a talented staff of employees to produce outstanding projects for both private and public-sector clients
Work times may vary depending upon duties. normal work hours are M-F, 8a – 5p.
Starting compensation will range between $95k and $145k based upon education, background and experience. Benefits will include holiday pay, paid health insurance, liberal PTO and eligibility for 401k participation after an initial introductory period. A compensation and proficiency review will be held at 90 days and thereafter on an annual basis.
