Catalina Yachts is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our procurement team. This role involves coordinating the acquisition of various goods and materials required for our yacht manufacturing processes, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing purchasing strategies and handle daily procurement activities.
Place orders for materials and ensure timely delivery to meet production schedules.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Review purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, and payment.
Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Qualifications:
Experience in purchasing or a similar role.
Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and any relevant purchasing software.
