Job Duties:
Evaluate incoming invoices, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies, and prepare and produce checks for all accounts payable.
Maintain financial records and databases in Microsoft Access, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data, create complex spreadsheets, and develop PivotTables and charts for reporting purposes.
Use Microsoft Access to manage and query databases, extracting relevant financial information for analysis.
Devise custom reports to present data, aiding supervisors, and management in making data-driven decisions.
Audit, balance, and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
Perform 401(k) contribution charting and weekly payments, evaluate class coding for Worker’s Compensation, and other office tasks to support daily operations.
Use Excel and Access to reconcile and cross-reference financial data, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data consistency.
Use Sage 50 Accounting software for various financial and accounting tasks such as accurately record and track financial transactions, vendor management, budgeting and forecasting, and financial data entry, ensuring compliance and precise financial reporting.
Education: U.S. Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Accounting
Skills, Certifications, or Licenses:
Graduate course work to include at least 4 credit hours of course work in each of the following subjects:
Accounting Information Systems.
Business Analytics
Auditing
Hours: Number of hours per week: 40 hours per week
Daily Work Schedule: Mon to Fri 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
