THIS IS AN OPS POSITION (40 HOURS PER WEEK) WHAT IS OPS EMPLOYMENT? Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used solely for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks. OPS are at-will employees and are subject to actions such as pay changes, changes to work assignment and terminations at the recommendation of the employer. DESCRIPTION : This position is an OPS DJJ Operations Specialist position. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Serves as the residential liaison related to the Tallahassee State College (TSC) Florida Youth College (FYC) contract. Primary residential point of contact for DJJ, TSC, Florida Scholars Academy (FSA) and Residential Providers.Assist with data processing on all aspects of Residential programming., as needed. Reports include, but not limited to, tracking tools of delinquency interventions by contract, career and technical education offerings for each program, number of graduates in residential programs, and other reports as required.Assist with the completion of purchasing for Residential Services Office (headquarters and statewide). Duties include a variety of related tasks including order supplies and equipment; accurately processes purchase requisitions, invoices; ensures the prompt payment of all expenses, etc. Expertise using the MFMP/AOD system will be preferred.Perform purchasing card duties related to various invoices and process purchasing card invoices in the Works System.Provide clerical assistance to the HQ leadership staff. Activities will include completing filing, travel vouchers and reimbursements; making travel arrangements; securing vehicles for travel; copying, preparing, and mailing letters; answering phones; etc. Assist with the coordination of equipment repairs and the setup of new phones and equipment for the HQ Residential Services Office.Assists in the development of Legislative Budget Requests (LBR) and Long-Range Program Plan (LRPP).Completes special projects and assignments relating to residential programs and policy and responds to public inquiries from parents, stakeholders and other states about questions/issues relating to services and programs.Coordinates statewide tracking of provider staff as required.This position must comply with the requirements set forth in Section 215.422 Florida Statutes, Prompt Payment Compliance Law.Performs other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES : Must have at minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Preference will be given to candidates with :

Microsoft Office Suite.

DJJ experience.

Valid driver's license is required.

Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
