Secret Cleared Accounting & Process Improvement Consultant

Work you'll do As a Professional in our Finance & Enterprise Performance team you will: - Provide financial operational accounting, analysis, reporting, and process improvement support to a Federal client
- Support the project's financial reporting, operational accounting, and process improvement workstreams
- Assist with the reconciliation of financial information from the operational accounting system with associated source documentation (e.g., purchase requests, billing records, contract information) and the operational accounting systems
- Provide analysis of operational accounting and associated financial management processes and reports
- Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices
- Support tasks and portions of the project scope on engagements related but not limited to Financial Operations, Supply Chain, and Project and Acquisition Management
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of the client environment and overall project scope
- Identify and solve problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
- Independently perform tasks with some guidance to execute a portion of the project scope
The team Finance & Enterprise Performance Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization. Qualifications Required: - 1 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience
- 1 or more years of experience with accounting regulations and processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
- Travelup to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Preferred: - Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to work independently under general guidance
- Experience working in teams and in a team environment that is process-oriented and deadline-driven
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
