We are a custom design & fabrication co. currently seeking to add an experienced Fabricator to join our dynamic team. If you have 5+ years of experience in fabrication, TIG & MIG Welding we want to interview you. You'll work on various projects, ensuring that no days are the same. You will be working with steel, stainless, brass, copper, zinc materials & more. All candidates will be required to perform a basic weld test. Hablamos espanol.

Shift

7:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday

7:00am to 11:00am Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour BOE

Job Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to understand project requirements.

2. Set up welding equipment, including selecting the appropriate welding tools, materials, and protective gear.

3. Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and degreasing to ensure proper weld penetration and adhesion.

5. Monitor welding processes to maintain quality and consistency, adjusting settings as needed.

6. Inspect tack welds for accuracy, completeness, and alignment, making adjustments as necessary.

7. Assist welders and fabricators in positioning and securing workpieces during assembly.

8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.

9. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment.

10. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize welding processes for efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

1. Self Starter

2. Proven experience as a tack welder or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

3. Proficiency in using welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welders.

4. Knowledge of welding techniques, and safety procedures.

5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

6. Strong attention to detail and precision in performing welding tasks.

7. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

8. Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

9. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
