Cabinet Shop Technician (Sign-On Bonus)

Florida, Sarasota-bradenton

Vacancy caducado!

We are a high-end RV Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking to add another Cabinet Shop Technician to our team. We have been in business for 40 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated. We build both Class-C and Class-B motorhomes on a variety of Ford and Mercedes cutaway chassis. Everything from fiberglass body fabrication, frame extensions, flooring, cabinet building, cabinet installation, upholstery, and even our exterior coach painting is done here on premises.

We specifically are looking for someone to join our Cabinet Shop installing cabinet door hardware and completing cabinet door installation. Each motorhome we manufacture requires a set of cabinets constructed by our Cabinet Shop. The process is started by cutting the required pieces for each cabinet by use of our automated CNC router. The cabinet is then assembled by our Cabinet Builders and pre-staged in our assembly line for the installation crew to install them. Later in the assembly process we hardware the cabinet doors and then install the doors prior to the coach’s completion. Applicant’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to checking-in cabinet door shipments to ensure correct door sizes are stocked, prepping/installing hardware into said doors, properly storing the hardwared doors, and finally installing the doors and cabinet trim into the designated coach upon coach completion.

This position does come with the opportunity for advancement. Once the required tasks are mastered, new employee (if he or she demonstrates good workmanship and a desire) will be trained in other areas of the Cabinet Shop so they can become more valuable to the company and thus increase their pay.

All tools and person protective equipment will be provided. Applicant must be regularly familiar with the operation of basic Cabinet Shop tools such as drills, screw guns, staple guns, routers, table saws, and chop saws. Applicant must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately. Cabinetry experience is required. Other carpentry skills are a plus.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am till 3:30pm with a 1/2-hour lunch from 11:30 till 12:00pm. Pay will be hourly and depend on applicant's prior experience. Benefits package includes Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Optical Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Major Holidays, Paid Time Off, and Quarterly Profit Sharing.

If you feel you meet the above requirements and would like this career opportunity, contact me (Zack) on my cell phone at 941-525-7129 as interviews are by appointment only.
