Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner to join our team. As a Medical Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients in order to promote pain relief, relieve muscle tension, improve overall well-being, increase flexibilty and have an outcome base massage If you have a passion for helping others and possess strong knowledge of medical massage techniques, anatomy and physiology we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques including medical massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, stretching and other specialized modalities
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans, SOAP notes are required .
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure client comfort throughout the session
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field of medical massage therapy
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid Massage Therapist license/certification in the state of Florida
- Proven experience in performing therapeutic/medical massage treatments
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and physical examinations
- Strong understanding of pain management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
