As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight, maintenance, and profitability of a diverse portfolio of properties. Your role will combine technical knowledge with leadership skills to ensure properties are well-maintained, tenant issues are resolved, and subcontractors are managed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Coordinate and oversee subcontractors for property repairs and renovations.
Maintenance Leadership: Utilize expertise in carpentry, drywall, roofing, plumbing, and electrical work to diagnose issues, ensure quality repairs, and support property upkeep.
Tenant Relations: Address tenant inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Inspections: Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Financial Oversight: Collect rent, manage budgets, and record all transactions accurately.
Administrative Tasks: Prepare leases, execute move-ins and move-outs, and maintain detailed property records.
Marketing and Leasing: Attract new tenants through effective marketing strategies and ensure high occupancy rates.
Qualifications:
Proven hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall, roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Minimum of 3 years of property management experience, managing both residential and commercial properties.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and manage subcontractors.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and reliable vehicle (required for job site visits).
High school diploma or GED (required); a bachelor’s degree in property management, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
