Morton's Gourmet Market in Sarasota is looking for a full-time or part-time wine and beer salesperson. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Educating staff and customers on fine wine, craft beer, and other gourmet products
- Setting up product displays, signage, and samples
- Receiving and organizing products upon delivery
- Assisting customers with product location and specifics, and much more.
Qualifications for this position are:
- GREAT customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Positive mental attitude and aim-to-please approach.
- Passion and knowledge of wine, craft beer, and applicable products
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Experience in the wine/food/retail industry
- Wine sommelier experience is a huge plus!
Flexible schedule is a must. Some nights (until 8 pm) and weekends are part of the job.
This is a part-time position but can quickly grow into full-time depending on schedule flexibility and aptitude.
