Qualifications:
A positive attitude with solid leadership and management skills
Prior recent experience working a fast-paced lunch & dinner kitchen
Physical stamina to work the shifts required; days & nights, Monday-Sunday as scheduled
A passion for delivering an excellent product
Reliable transportation
Food Handler Management Certification
Responsibilities:
Hire, train, schedule and oversee kitchen staff
Receive, check, and properly put away deliveries; follow-up on stock issues
Ensure recipes are correctly followed and preparation is consistent
Ensure food quality, portion sizes, and plating are correct
Set regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verify staff is maintaining sanitation levels
Monitor kitchen for health and safety standards - cooking, temp, cooling/holding
Assist with inventory and ordering so that all necessary items are properly stocked
Notify management of any repairs or maintenance required for kitchen equipment
Work with management on menu and features development
