Morton's Gourmet Market in Sarasota is looking for a part-time or full-time cheese and gourmet product merchandiser/assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Educating staff and customers on cheese, pate, caviar, and other gourmet products
- Setting up product displays, signage, and samples
- Wrapping and labeling cheese. meats and pate.
- Receiving and organizing product upon delivery
- Assisting customers with product location and specifics, and much more.
Qualifications for this position are:
- GREAT customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Highly organized and sanitary.
- Positive mental attitude and aim-to-please approach.
- Passion and knowledge of wine, fine food, and applicable products
- Gourmet cheese knowledge is a requirement. Wine knowledge is a huge plus!
Flexible schedule needed. Some nights (until 8 pm) and weekends are part of the job.
