- Designs comprehensive test approaches for capabilities and features leveraging various test methods
- Implements, automates, and executes test approaches efficiently and independently
- Maintains and updates automation suites alongside new development and analyzes results of tests exercised in a continuous delivery pipeline
- Identifies, characterizes, and communicates defects detected during test execution
- Collaborates and partners with team members to troubleshoot and resolve defects
- Participates in scrum team ceremonies, providing input and exchanging ideas with team members at daily standup and sprint planning
- Coach others and contributes to a community of practice to grow shared understanding of Behavior Driven Development, automation best practices, and system design and function
- Continuously learns and expands technical skills across a broad domain
- Responsible for consistently helping the team grow by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- 2+ years of experience in automated testing of web applications and services
- Solid experience developing automation tests using C# and Selenium
- Experience applying Behavior Driven Development principles (ie: Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)
- Experience constructing and executing test approaches leveraging various test methods
- Experience analyzing and communicating test results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience completing code reviews of automated tests and addressing code review comments from reviewers
- Ability to identify requirements gaps and ask appropriate questions to support scenario definition
- Ability to write intermediate level SQL queries and use of SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience testing ETL (data transformation) and reporting platforms (ie: SSRS, QlikSense, Power BI, Tableau, R, etc.)
