Common Ground Adventures, a local adventure education company, is seeking trainee applicants to be Challenge Course Facilitators. Qualified applicants will begin a 4 day training starting Aug 8. This is for PT work, but opportunities for full time positions may be available for the right person. Challenge Course Facilitators provide the opportunity for groups and individuals to recognize and reach their potential through a variety of team-building activities. They utilize combination of portable initiatives, low challenge course and high ropes to enhance self-confidence, promote positive group dynamics, expand problem-solving abilities, and increase levels of communication.
The ideal candidate must like working outdoors, have good people and communication skills, and the desire to be part of a hard working, creative and flexible team interested in challenging themselves and others. Candidates must be at least 21 and be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening. Any certifications such as First Aid, CPR, WFA, and Lifeguard are a plus.
Experienced Facilitators are also encouraged to apply for positions.
Pay range $15-25/hour based on experience.
