We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of custom sign projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the high-quality standards our clients expect. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

Manage multiple sign manufacturing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.

Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables for custom signage.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones.

Coordinate with internal teams, including design, production, and installation, to ensure seamless project execution.

Client Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing client inquiries or concerns.

Budget & Resource Management:

Create and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.

Allocate resources effectively, ensuring that labor, materials, and equipment are available and properly scheduled to meet production and delivery timelines.

Ensure materials and products are procured on time to avoid delays in the production schedule.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

Identify potential risks to project timelines, budgets, or quality, and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

Address issues that arise during project execution, such as delays, quality concerns, or technical challenges, ensuring prompt resolution.

Manage client requests for changes and ensure those changes are controlled, documented, and incorporated without disrupting project flow.

Quality Control & Compliance:

Ensure all signage meets The Florida Sign Company's high-quality standards and client specifications.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing and installation phases.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and local building codes during production and installation.

Project Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, budgets, schedules, and client communications.

Provide regular status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.

Ensure all project documentation is organized and complete for future reference and potential audits.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in the sign manufacturing or construction industry.

Experience working with design, production, and installation teams in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and ERP systems is a plus.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate challenges and find solutions quickly.

Proficient in managing project budgets, resources, and schedules.

Knowledge of sign manufacturing processes, materials, and industry regulations is highly beneficial.

Certifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, in-office position with occasional travel to job sites or client meetings.
