Description:They will work in a couple of different areas within assembly potentially.Process Areas: Coiling, Foam Encasement, Assembly, Gluing, Sewing, Borders, Quilting, Closing and PackingAssemble mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns) Assemble mattresses as outlined in established work instructions using a variety of pneumatic tools (e.g., c-ring hog-ring guns, staple guns, hot glue guns).This includes the assembly of Hot Melt Bond (HMB) units on the HMB machine; application of various, specified upholstered layers to HMB and open coil units; foam-encased pocketed coil units; application of specified upholstery layers; foam encasing and final mattress assembly. Inspects mattress components and finished units for unacceptable flaws or structural defects.May work in the areas belowbox spring assembly - hand tools and heavy lifting needed to move around the box springs as they are assembled.mattress assembly - assisting with this process is more manual and less tools used - less heavy lifting required.quilting - more working with sewing side of the business and fabrics.Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.hand tools experience preferred. may need to use a nail gun for some assembly roles.
