DescriptionSAIC is in need of a senior cost analyst to perform analysis, studies, and DoD cost methodologies for the Cost Team supporting DASA-CE in the areas of Missiles & Munitions and Aircraft & Unmanned Ariel Systems. This is a remote position that can be worked from any location in the United States.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Senior Cost Analysts who will apply knowledge of DoD acquisition processes or equivalent, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate M&M and Aircraft & UAS data and develop cost analysis products.

The Senior Cost Analyst devises solutions to problems relating to improvements of cost estimating techniques.

The Senior Cost Analyst may perform special cost studies for each, or across all, commodities.

Responsibilities will include monthly reports and all deliverables to Technomics, the prime.

QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE : Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more of related experience.

Knowledge of Government Weapons Acquisition including earned value management, performance management, Portfolio management, and budgeting their processes, procedures, requirements, and directives.

Previous experience in organizing and providing cost estimating, budgeting, and Systems portfolio management activities for government program management organization.

Knowledge of and experience with systems engineering/acquisition process to include program planning, program monitoring and control, RFP preparation, source selection and decision analysis.

Strong analytic skills and problem-solving ability in complex decision environments.

Experience in cost analysis and performance of engineering-cost trade-off analyses.

Experience in organization development, process development, process development, and mentoring of government personnel in acquisition, cost estimating, and budgeting.

Experience in Technical Trade Studies, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA’s) and Technical Risk Assessments.

Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Analysis and Evaluation of Cost and Pricing data to determine Price reasonableness of complex proposals.

CLEARANCE:

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
