We are searching for an experienced, analytical, enthusiastic auto mechanic to help us keep growing and to help our customers resolve issues with vehicle performance and appearance.
The Auto Mechanic will speak to customers about the performance and history of their vehicles, inspect mechanical and electronic components, Diagnose issues, and discuss possible resolutions with customers. You will also maintain shop equipment and generate estimates and timelines for repairs.
Auto Mechanic duties and responsibilities:
- Using manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify potential problems in a car
- Explaining mechanical problems and possible solutions to customers
- Planning work and testing procedures using charts, experience and other organizational methods
- Testing parts and systems to ensure they work correctly
- Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested
- Performing basic automotive care, including changing oil and rotating tires
- Repairing or replacing worn, old or defective parts of a car
- Repairing or modifying a car to a customer’s specifications, if possible

- Familiarity with complex electronic control systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions.
- Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Addition education, certifications, or experience is generally preferred.
