We’re hiring a Florida-licensed Electrical Contractor (EC License holder) to serve as our electrical qualifier for the state of Florida.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a Florida State Electrical Contractor to serve as our Qualifier, responsible for the full scope of duties required under Florida law—not just permitting. While the bulk may focus on permitting, this role formally includes all responsibilities of a Qualifying Agent.
Orlando-based candidates are preferred, as we’d also like this person to take on subcontracted install work (2–6 jobs/month), but we’re open to working with any EC in Florida. If you're outside Orlando, we can hire a separate installer while you serve as the Qualifier.
Your Role Includes:
-Serving as the W2 Qualifying Agent under your EC license
-Overseeing and ensuring code-compliant installations across Florida
-Pulling permits and managing correspondence with AHJs
-Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations
-Supporting internal documentation, communication, and quality control
