Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Freight Broker Agent at our location in Tavares, FL. The Freight Broker Agent will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and carriers, arranging shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include managing customer accounts, coordinating with the dispatch team, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also involves negotiating rates and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
Assist with customer inquiries.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.
Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations.
No experience required.
Qualifications
Possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage (preferred not required)
Experience in Customer Service and Account Management
Dispatching skills and the ability to coordinate logistics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work onsite in Tavares, FL
Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
