We are hiring experienced event security staff to work mainly non-profit events that will take place around the local Orlando area. Most of the events will be in partnership with women-specific events. Females are highly encouraged to apply.
1st scheduled event: Friday June 20th
2nd scheduled event Friday June 27th
Hiring several security guards and one security supervisor.
Job Summary:
Observes and reports activities and incidents at assigned client site, providing for client property and personnel security and safety.
Check identification for all personnel and visitors entering the site.
Maintain client site policies and procedures for all personnel and visitors related to the specific site orders.
Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Controls access to the client site or facility through the admittance process
Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
Prepares logs and reports as required.
Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
Qualifications/Skills:
A high school degree or GED
Successful completion of drug test and background checks
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
Florida Class “D” unarmed Security License
Complies with all uniform requirements according to the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to communicate effectively
