Tax Director/Manager - Corporate

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Tax Director/Manager - Corporate to join our team in the hospitality industry, located in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be overseeing the Tax Department's compliance function, reviewing global income tax provision, assisting with special projects and company initiatives, and ensuring the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.Responsibilities: Oversee the Tax Department's compliance function by managing workflow and meeting deadlines Monitor tax calendar and allocate resources accordingly Supervise incoming and outgoing information requests and third-party engagement communications Review annual corporate tax return's U.S. international tax calculations and filings Analyze quarterly global income tax provision, including current and deferred taxes, ETR, rate reconciliations, and income tax payable reconciliations Collaborate with FP& A on periodic global tax forecasts based on changing business forecasts and tax planning scenarios Assist VP on special projects and company initiatives, presenting comprehensive conclusions on research memos on various international, federal and state tax topics Implement tax policies and procedures (including SOX compliance) and transfer pricing strategies Develop the team through mentorship and training. Maintain and ensure accurate ETR and cash tax forecasts/budgets.Message Kathy Downs on LinkedIn for more informationRequirements Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role within the hotel industry Proficiency in managing Annual Income Tax Provision Experience with Consolidated Tax Return preparation and management Expertise in International Tax Compliance Ability to handle Multi-state Tax Returns Proven track record in Income Tax Compliance Experience in managing Foreign Tax affairs Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using tax software and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with current tax regulations and staying updated with changes Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.
