Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer 2, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a self-motivated attitude, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer IILocation: Orlando, FL 32817Pay Range: $30.00-35.00 per hourWhat's the Job?

Lead Product Qualification Activities at Suppliers - Product and Process Qualifications (PPQs)

Manage and resolve Quality issues related to supplier non-conforming components

Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions

Audit existing and potential suppliers to ensure quality systems are in place

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain

What's Needed?

Technical training or further education in quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001) and Supplier Quality Management (SQM)

Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and drawing interpretation

Proven ability to manage multi-problem investigations simultaneously

Knowledge of inspection methodologies and assessment of inspection capability
