Manufacturing Automation Engineering Intern

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Engineer Intern to support the Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) team at Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando FL. Candidate will be responsible for supporting and participating in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as collaborative/industrial robots, vision systems, and programmable controllers. In this role, the candidate will work with AMT automation engineers to understand requirements and manufacturing processes for which automation solutions can be developed and deployed. In these projects, the candidate will leverage mechanical design skills in 3D modeling and additive manufacturing to validate design concepts.
