The CDP will integrate data from various sources, such as ERP, marketing, sales, and service systems, and provide a unified and consistent view of the customer across the organization. The Data Architect and Data Migration Lead will be responsible for the following tasks:Job ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop a robust customer data strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Implement and oversee data collection, analysis, and utilization practices.
Ensure the effective integration of customer data across various business systems and platforms.
Data Management and Governance:
Oversee the management of customer data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
Analytics and Insights:
Lead the analysis of customer data to derive actionable insights.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer data.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, scientists, and engineers.
Foster a collaborative environment and work closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, and IT.
Coordinate with external partners and vendors as necessary.
Technology and Innovation:
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and customer data management.
Advocate for and lead the adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance data capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement in data practices and processes.
Design and develop data pipelines, ETL processes, data transformations, and data integration solutions using cloud-based technologies and tools
Lead and manage the data migration from legacy systems to the CDP, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
Collaborate with business stakeholders, CRM consultants, and IT teams to understand the data requirements, business rules, and data flows
Provide technical guidance, best practices, and support to the data engineering and data analytics teams
Document and communicate the data architecture, data migration plan, and data quality issues and resolutions
Job QualificationsMinimum Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, data engineering, and data migration projects
Strong knowledge and experience in designing and implementing CDPs, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts using cloud-based platforms and services
Proficient in SQL, Python, and other data manipulation and scripting languages
Experience in using data integration tools, such as Informatica, Talend, or MuleSoft
Experience in working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, Dynamics, or Oracle
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Additional knowledge and skills:
Experience in CRM systems and customer data platforms.
Background in marketing analytics or customer relationship management.
Certifications in data management, analytics, or related fields.
