Structural Engineering Internship/Full time position
Looking for a motivated student looking to find a part time to full time position with Structural firm specializing in single and multifamily residential design. We design simple to large complex single family homes as well as townhome and condo buildings throughout Florida. Producing full construction documents as well as structural calculations.
Requirements:
Senior level in engineering coursework.
Have taken or currently taking the following classes: Statics, Mechanics and materials and Structural analysis.
Knowledge of how to use and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel
Ability to compose technical letters to building departments as well as for field repairs.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Enercalc, and Risa preferred but not required.
Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week until graduation.
