Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Management
Post all accounts payable invoices.
Camera Maintenance and assist in police investigations
Bi-weekly payroll entry, automated preparation, and distribution.
Regular reconciliation of supplier statements with accounts payable records
Monthly reconciliation of bank statements (one active account, several with few to no transactions)
Preparation of monthly Florida Sales Tax reports
Month end closing of accounting system and preparation of month end financial reports including Income Statement and Balance Sheet plus supporting schedules.
Ongoing filing of various accounting documents related to the above
Interface with suppliers as needed to resolve matters that may come up
Monitoring of financial investments and monthly reporting
Other non-recurring miscellaneous matters related to the maintenance of the accounting system.
Preparation and circulation of ad hoc financial reports.
Assistance with the preparation of the annual budget
Act as liaison with the auditors regarding the annual audited financial statements and related matters
Office Administration
Oversee and manage all contractors.
Oversee facilities maintenance and security.
Manage office and staff.
Human Resources Management
Staffing/Terminating
Employee Compensation
Employee Benefits
Complete other duties as assigned.
