We pay our property inspectors $50 per inspection to walk through our properties after our Guests check out and to complete our inspection checklist which consists of tasks like taking pictures of damage; testing and resetting or reporting inoperable items like TVs, lights and appliances; wiping off wall scuffs with a magic eraser; making sure that bikes and paddleboards are neatly arranged; sweeping/blowing off porches; rolling the trash cans to the sidewalk if needed; checking to make sure that the golf cart key is in the lockbox, etc.

Our property inspections typically take between 1 to 2 hours and the inspector is paid $50.
Additionally, the inspector has the opportunity to complete small fixes that require no special skills (such as swapping out a propane tank or purchasing and replacing a missing/broken item) for $45/hour while they are there.
And, although not required, inspectors who have maintenance skills can also earn $45 additional per hour to do maintenance jobs such as replacing towel/tp holders, replacing blinds, replacing smoke detectors, replacing door locks, replacing bike inner tubes or chains, etc.
The most important quality of our property inspectors is 1.) honesty, 2.) reliability and 3.) detailed-orientation.
Although we offer flexible scheduling with both part and full time opportunities, you MUST be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays as these are our peak days. And the total amount of compensation will vary widely depending on the number of inspections that you accept and the number of additional maintenance tasks (if any) that you perform.
