We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to operate warehouse equipment, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
Unload, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of all shipments.
Coordinate with carriers and logistics teams to schedule shipments and deliveries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies to prevent accidents and damage.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience, minimum 1 year, in shipping/receiving.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
