Proofreader Needed for Online Content - REMOTE
Are you a detail-oriented person with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting? Do you enjoy reading and editing various types of online content, such as blog posts, social media posts, web pages, and ebooks? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are looking for a proofreader to join our team and help us ensure that our online content is flawless and engaging. You will be responsible for reviewing and correcting our content before it is published on our website and other platforms.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Excellent command of the English language and its rules
Familiarity with different style guides
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
A portfolio of previous proofreading work
As a proofreader, you will:
Review and correct our online content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors
Check for consistency, clarity, and readability
Ensure that the content adheres to our brand voice and style guidelines
Communicate with the writers and editors to resolve any issues or queries
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the quality of the content
This is a remote, freelance position that offers flexible hours and competitive pay.
You will be paid within the range of $48 - $57 per hour and will be expected to proofread about 10,000 words per week.
