We are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of our Class D Licensed Security Officers in Miami Dade and Broward County. If you have excellent communication skills, the ability to problem-solve on the fly, and a knack for maintaining positive working relationships, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Learn and master scheduling software to effectively manage guard schedules.
Fill open shifts and handle call-outs in the weekly schedule promptly.
Monitor dispatch logs to ensure staff are punctual and in their designated positions.
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and company heads.
Collaborate with the Operations Team for recruitment, placement, and scheduling.
Assist in the coordination of training with the Human Resources team.
Conduct telephone interviews to screen candidates before in-person interviews.
Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective decision-making.
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
Take independent action with a sense of urgency and creativity in problem-solving.
Communicate company issues and status updates to company heads.
Hold a valid State of Florida Class "D" Security License.
Position is 100% on site in office.
Qualifications:
English and Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
Dispatch/scheduling experience is a strong advantage.
Possession of a Class D license is strongly preferred.
Weekend availability is a significant plus.
