Job Summary
We are seeking a hybrid position for a skilled Dental Assistant with Front desk experience to join our dynamic dental practice on Monday and Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm in Miami Beach. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including implants and veneers.
Take and record vital signs of patients to ensure their safety and comfort.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist with the preparation of dental materials.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Perform X-Ray imaging as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Manage dental systems, including Oryx software (will train), for scheduling and patient records.
Ensure all instruments are sterilized and prepared for use before each appointment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Answer phone calls and follow up with patients
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (2+ years) and Front Desk.
Knowledge of Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and X-Ray procedures is advantageous.
Familiarity with Oryx or similar dental management software is a plus, but not required (will train the right candidate).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is preferred but not required.
Bilingual is preferred, not required.
