Fly Guys is a busy private aviation catering company, seeking to build our team of culinary experts. This is the perfect position suited for individuals passionate about food and eager to grow their culinary expertise.
Requirements:
Experience: At least 2 year as a line cook in a full-service restaurant. Fine dining or catering a PLUS
Cuisine Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide variety of cuisines
Schedule Flexibility: Available for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skills: Basic English proficiency, cooking techniques, and knife handling.
Attributes: Punctual, detail-oriented, with a positive attitude and a passion for learning.
Certification: Food handling training as per local regulations.
Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 pounds; good manual dexterity.
Compliance: Adhere to local laws and health ordinances.
Workload: Capable of handling high production volume and working unsupervised.
Responsibilities:
Prepare items both on or off the menu using appropriate seasonings, portion controls, and presentation standards.
Use and maintain kitchen equipment properly.
Organize and set up workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist in maintaining and organizing kitchen, storage, and refrigeration areas.
Occasionally assist with dishwashing, sauce preparation, or other tasks as needed.
Work collaboratively with the team, maintaining effective communication.
