Pay: $14 - $17 per hour (based on experience + Tip)
We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Barista to join Ricky's! The ideal candidate will have at least 1–2 years of experience in a café or coffee shop environment, be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, and bring strong customer service and teamwork skills. You’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and tea drinks, serving pastries and snacks, maintaining a clean station, and ensuring every guest has a great experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards.
Assist with preparing and serving pastries or light café items.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety guidelines.
Ensure all customer orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Assist teammates as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Restock supplies and ingredients as necessary throughout the shift.
Clean and sanitize your station and equipment before leaving for the day.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista or in a café/coffee shop environment.
Strong attention to detail, especially in drink preparation and presentation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be a team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Ability to handle high-volume rushes while maintaining quality and speed.
Must be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
Must be available for the afternoon shift (10 AM – 4 PM).
Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 lbs (milk crates, coffee supplies, etc.).
Must have reliable transportation to and from the location.
Perks:
Pay starts at $14/hour and can go up to $17/hour depending on experience.
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.
No work on holidays.
