Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Assist with audits and tax preparation.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
Support the finance team with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
years of accounting experience preferred.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
