ServiceNow Business Process Consultant Contract through 12/31/21 with Possible Extension Remote Opportunity We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Business Process Consultant with strong client stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and business process re-engineering skills with the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Business Process Consultant role will work closely with external clients and internal technology project teams to achieve this outcome within standard project delivery methodologies. This is achieved by collaborating with key stakeholder teams to analyze and understand requirements, then transforming the requirements into a valid solution. JOB DUTIES
- Drive specific process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current / to-be processes during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders
- Provide guidance to the client and to ServiceNow technical resources in the implementation of the to-be processes
- Lead clients in their efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow functional capabilities and in their efforts to improve their business processes
- Complete, develop, and improve required documentation such as process flow diagrams, roles / responsibilities, workshop agendas, presentations, gap analysis reports
- Identifying areas of business process improvement (efficiency and effectiveness) and recommending solutions that detail pros, cons, and risks
- Juggle multiple and complex projects and initiatives
- Promote continuous process improvement practices
- Support specific sales activities when required
- Manage and communicate business process and business requirements, ensuring that the proposed solutions meet the customer's expectations
- Provide training and mentoring to other members of the services team
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings to identify any tasks or user stories that are at risk and provides support as needed
- 5 years as a ServiceNow technical BA
- Business Analyst or functional member of a ServiceNow project or administration team
- Business Analyst or functional member of ITSM project implantations
- Business Analyst or functional member of a PaaS or SaaS project implementations
- Participation in customer requirements gathering workshops in a ServiceNow project
- Participation in scoping a ServiceNow project including writing user stories
- ITIL v3 Foundations certified
- Strong working knowledge of various ServiceNow components such as Service Desk - Reporting & SLA Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, CMDB, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, Mobility, and Service Request Management
- Project management or development lifecycle skills beneficial
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Business requirements analysis
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as remotely
- Detail-oriented
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
