DescriptionServe as technical lead with multiple BI efforts with minimal supervision required. Coordinating tasks within the group and guide on the design management, implementation and ongoing operation of a comprehensive BI design. Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the design and construction of BI solutions, Balancing optimization, tuning, and data access. Individual must be comfortable with rapid application development and with developing requirements and design specifications for new and existing data models. Proven ability to work on multiple high-level projects at the same times. Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end-users, managers, clients and other stakeholders. Assist with the selection of hardware and software products for the BI architecture. Spearheads development of logical and physical data models, and ETL development, as needed. The BI Consultant is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support function design of data structures and in-depth testing. Strong project management skills and experience in all stages of the development life cycle required. In-depth knowledge of the business, having spent 5 or more years in the healthcare industry.RequirementsDegrees: BachelorsAdditional Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to learn new concepts and requirements quickly. Extensive knowledge of IS implementation with analytical and BI design skills.Solid project management skills in planning and monitoring projects in a cross-functional environment. Excellent problem-solving skills. Posses experience with hardware, software, and processes associated with BI and DW methodologies. Develops, monitors and designs data structures to support effective BI reporting for all DW solutions. Keeps current with the latest version of BI software, upgrades, techniques and implements best practices. Knowledge of relational database management, Data Warehouse Architecture, Healthcare IT and BI tools are a must. Experience in at least five of the following areas is essential: Create reports, metadata and report templates, design, code, extract, manipulate, and load into a data model/data warehouse, troubleshoot BI tool problems and tune for performance, analyze data and document in new or modified BI systems, Validate data accuracy and build reconciliation processes as needed, Design/deliver end-user training and materials. Facilitate, present, and manage team meetings, as needed.Minimum Required Experience: 5 YearsTechnology doesn't change the world.
