This role is a part technical project manager, and part Salesforce Architect.

Overview
  • The Director will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment.
  • The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce.com platform.
  • The Director will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop, and deploy new business processes including Call Center, Operations, Marketing, Measurements, Commissions, and core business processes.
  • The Director will be responsible for ensuring timelines are met by direct reports and external consultants/vendors.
  • Ensure all SDLC processes are followed and well documented with signoffs before production deployment.
  • The Director will oversee a technology team in architecture, design, development, and delivery using industry-standard processes and tools - Together, this team will shape the future of how the business leverages the SFDC platform and other technologies across the National Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of internal and external Salesforce administrators and application developers on successful maintenance, changes, and rollouts on a business-critical 24/7 Salesforce platform that supports an environment of 2000+ users.
  • Build, train, and develop a highly innovative and engaged team to help implement and maintain Salesforce Cloud.
  • Proactively communicate with business leaders, including leading a rich dialogue on technology solutions, service performance, spend and priorities
  • Analyze business needs ranging from strategic perspectives to service requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the business unit, seeking opportunities to apply knowledge, skills, products, and services to improve business processes and the end-user experience.
  • Lead business units’ requirements definition & scoping, from business analysis to requirements formulation to RFI/RFP construction to supplier selection
  • Ensure effective governance throughout the business unit’s project lifecycle through governance committees.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Technology Architecture team to ensure business unit requirements are included in technology standards and product selections.
  • Work with vendor and implementation team to ensure that the product feature set architecture delivers a complete digital experience.
  • Work with internal customers to define/deliver the business unit’s technology roadmap.
  • Ensure system/platform compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Be a visionary partnering with architects, technical leads, and key individuals within our functional organization and recommend platform improvements.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades.
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
  • Manage Five9 Call Center Phone system integration with Salesforce and manage and maintain changes and rollouts of Five9 in collaboration with the call center SMEs.
  • Provide architecture roadmap for M&A integrations
  • Design and apply design patterns in SaaS and PaaS environments
  • Track success through key business metrics

Required Skills
  • 10+ years progressively responsible experience in information technology,
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Salesforce.com Architect
  • 5+ years managing large-scale Salesforce Projects on time and Budget with a successful track record of minimal or no impact to the business.
  • Substantial senior-level technical experience in Enterprise Architecture (Business, Data & Application)
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator
  • 3+ years of experience implementing APEX and other custom code.
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Experience with large-scale project delivery (e.g., CRM, BI/DW, ERP, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.

Education, Licenses, Certifications Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certifiedBachelor’s degree in related field
