Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our financial operations.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial records.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and assist in monthly closing procedures.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
Support payroll processing and maintain employee records as needed.
Assist in preparing for audits and regulatory compliance.
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
Collaborate with team members to support various accounting projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
years of experience in an accounting or clerical role preferred.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
