We are seeking a motivated and caring Assistant Teacher / Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, eager to support classroom activities, and dedicated to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Support individual and group student needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
- Help with classroom management and organization.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, recess, and other school events.
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom setup.
Qualifications:
- Staff Credentials are a plus
- 45-hour required training is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or early childhood education certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience working with children (in a classroom, daycare, or similar setting) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, caring, and adaptable nature.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Preferred Skills:
- Able to work with children with unique abilities
- Knowledge of child development principles.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging children in learning.
