The value you’ll bring to the team: The Research Coordinator is responsible for organizing the investigation, development and implementation of clinical research and provides administrative support to achieve project objectives. Responsible for coordinating clinical study protocols in an accurate and timely manner. Handles preparation, monitoring and follow-up of patient activities or regulatory processes as related to study requirements
Conforms to all standards of good research practice and provide support to the research department staff and patients by abiding current IRB, FDA, federal, state, and institutional regulations pertaining to human subjects research, including the use of institutional and departmental SOP’s.
Communicates with study subjects, investigators, institutional review board and sponsors in a professional and timely manner.
Advises management of deviations in conduct, patient status and issues relevant to the integrity of the trial or the safety of research subjects.
Is accurate and timely in the submission of study related documents and materials and in accordance with FDA regulations and ICH guidelines.
Conducts research study visits and procedures, as required, including the informed consent process, study design and procedure explanations, examinations, laboratory and diagnostic studies, medication dispensing, charting and recording of data, and organization of study visits per protocol requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent
Two years healthcare experience
Current CPR Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field of study
CITI Training
Radiology / Imaging experience
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator
Certified Clinical Research Professionals
Society of Clinical Research Professionals
