Description We are looking for a Claims Admin Support Specialist to join our team in Maitland, Florida. The role involves a variety of clerical duties in support of our claim administration processes. This position will entail interacting with a diverse range of internal and external contacts, managing office supplies, and maintaining office equipment. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Engage with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, medical providers, attorneys, law enforcement agencies, etc., primarily through phone and mail communications. Screen and direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate personnel or department. Oversee the maintenance and updating of office supplies inventory. Operate and maintain office equipment like fax machines, printers, and copiers. Coordinate office shredding procedures with designated vendors. Handle document maintenance including file creation, retrieval, and copying. Compose routine correspondence as required. Receive visitors, direct them appropriately, and resolve routine inquiries. Sort and distribute mail from various sources like USPS, FedEx, and other delivery companies. Perform various support duties like setting up meetings, coordinating record retention, etc. Conduct research, compile reports, and perform additional duties as requested by leadership. Travel occasionally as per business requirements. Requirements Proficient in customer service, with the ability to positively interact with clients and colleagues. Experience in office functions, including organizing, scheduling, and maintaining files. Able to produce accurate reports and understand business procedures. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and guide team members. Familiarity with dealing with vendors and check processing. Ability to manage paperwork and claim administration effectively. Clerical duties experience, including data entry, filing, and record management. Willingness to travel as per job requirements. Experience in scanning documents and operating office machinery such as printers. Strong research analysis skills and proficient in R Code. Knowledge of laptop hardware for basic troubleshooting. Understanding of disability benefits procedures. Familiarity with FedEx for sending and receiving packages. Physical capability for lifting office supplies or packages. Ability to distribute incoming mail efficiently. Experience in using fax machines and making copies. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and direct supervision. Experience in printing documents and managing print jobs. Proficient in operating office machinery. Experience with scanning documents for digital storage and reference. Strong research and analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings. Knowledge of R Code for statistical computing and graphics. Proficiency in troubleshooting common issues with laptop hardware. Understanding of disability benefits procedures and regulations. Ability to handle FedEx shipping and receiving. Physical capability to perform lifting tasks as needed. Ability to efficiently distribute incoming mail to the appropriate parties. Experience in operating fax machines and making copies of documents. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and protocols. Ability to work under direct supervision and follow instructions accurately.
