RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Security Engineer/Analyst for a hybrid direct hire position for a client in Madison, WI. This role is a level 3 security generalist position and seeking they are looking for someone with at least 5 years of security experience supporting over 1,000 users.
Summary:The day to day will be a split of security engineering, security analysis, and mentoring L1/L2 security analysts who handle security provisioning. This is a senior role, the security go-to person who will be focused on incident response such as security threats, collaborating with different business units on new security tools, security process improvements, digging into systems and enhancements on the information security side. This role will get involved with L2/L3 high escalation security issues, involved in security project work, and working with IT leadership.REQUIREMENTS: At least 5 years of general security experience in a mid to large sized company Proven performance as a senior member of a security operations and/or security threat team Experience mentoring other security analysts Experience working cross functionally with the business on security tools and advising solutions Able to articulate examples of improving security process Able to work on onsite 2-3 days a week in Madison, WIThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
